DDP is a data format developed by DCA that contains all audio and subcodes necessary to create a Red Book standard CD.

DDP is the only format that the majority CD pressing plants will accept if you wish to upload your master as a data file to them rather than ship them a physical disc.   As such it provides a great way to save both time and shipping costs (especially if your plant is far from our NYC location) as we can simply upload the DDP directly to them.

We also can place the DDP image onto CD-R or DVD-R data discs and provide these to you as well, as it offers a robust way (protected by data disc's superior error correction routines) to store your CD master's data.  These can also be easily used by many replication plants as a CD master.

Finally we can send you the DDP image along with our free DDP Player software so that you can audition the DDP master and easily burn CD-R master discs from it at your remote location yourself.
